We recommend that you speak to an advisor to determine whether or not you meet the
Department of Nursing and University admission requirements. Our BSN advisor is
available to evaluate your transcripts prior to completing an application. Before
meeting with the advisor you should collect copies of your transcripts from each
college or university you have attended. Our advisor will evaluate your records
for admissions requirements and any general education courses which need to be completed.
Thus, it is important to collect all transcripts, not just your Nursing records.
For pre-admission advisement unofficial records can be used. However, should you
decide to apply you will be required to obtain official, sealed copies of each transcript.
For your convenience, pre-admission advising can be done by phone, email or in person.

Once you are a matriculated student, you will meet with the BSN advisor each semester
to track the progression of your classes. Your BSN advisor will help you develop
a study plan, decide which general education courses to complete, remind you of
deadlines for clinical applications and graduation, and provide general guidance
as needed. It is also recommended that students meet with the Department of Nursing
faculty as needed for advising of specific courses and professional development. |
