Dear Prospective Nursing Student:
We are pleased to announce that California State University, Fullerton is offering
two new pre-licensure programs that will provide the pathway to becoming a Registered
Nurse at the baccalaureate (generic or Entry-level BSN ) and graduate level (Entry-level
MSN).
RN/Pre-Licensure Pathway(EL-BSN)
RN/Pre-Licensure Pathway(EL-MSN)
The Entry-level BSN (EL-BSN) pathway is designed for students who want to become
nurses at the baccalaureate level. This option provides the coursework to become
a Registered Nurse (RN) with a BSN in 4 years and includes 1 year of pre-requisites
classes and 3 years of nursing coursework to meet the requirements for RN licensure.
The Entry-Level MSN (EL-MSN) pathway is designed for students with a non-nursing
BA or BS degree who want to become nurses. This pathway allows for completion of
requirements for RN licensure and MSN coursework in 3 years.

that you need to learn more about theses pathways and pre-requisite coursework is

about both of these programs. If you download the information/application packet,
these materials will include details about application procedures for the specific
program you are interested in.
