REGISTERED NURSE (RN) LICENSURE

Dear Prospective Nursing Student:

We are pleased to announce that California State University, Fullerton is offering two new pre-licensure programs that will provide the pathway to becoming a Registered Nurse at the baccalaureate (generic or Entry-level BSN ) and graduate level (Entry-level MSN).

RN/Pre-Licensure Pathway(EL-BSN)
RN/Pre-Licensure Pathway(EL-MSN)

The Entry-level BSN (EL-BSN) pathway is designed for students who want to become nurses at the baccalaureate level. This option provides the coursework to become a Registered Nurse (RN) with a BSN in 4 years and includes 1 year of pre-requisites classes and 3 years of nursing coursework to meet the requirements for RN licensure.

The Entry-Level MSN (EL-MSN) pathway is designed for students with a non-nursing BA or BS degree who want to become nurses. This pathway allows for completion of requirements for RN licensure and MSN coursework in 3 years.
All of the information that you need to learn more about theses pathways and pre-requisite coursework is included on this website and the website will continue to be updated with new information about both of these programs. If you download the information/application packet, these materials will include details about application procedures for the specific program you are interested in.

The nursing profession is on the move and so are we. We hope you will find the enclosed information helpful!
