Preceptors

If you are a school nurse candidate:

Your preceptor will be a credentialed school nurse.  Preceptors may be utilized in one of three program courses:

• The health assessment course, N524 Advanced Health Assessment: Ambulatory Pediatrics (1 unit)
• The school nursing practicum, N533L School Nurse Specialist Practicum (3 units)
• The health teaching practicum, N534L Special Teaching Authorization in Health Practicum (3 units)

Preceptor Profiles are available to aid students in their selection of a preceptor.
