School Nursing Student Showcase
|
|
|
|
Here is the place where exemplary
school nursing student projects, papers, best practice models, case studies,
and clinical or practice strategies are made available to fellow student colleagues
or to preceptors. These include such student offerings as a paper applying a particular
theory to practice, a health teaching module, a description of a successful “pick
up”, an identification of a pupil or family health problem based upon learning acquired
in this program, a description of a clinical scenario in a school district with
unique or creative nursing intervention, an innovative approach to working with
a family, a depiction of a successful transcultural nursing interaction, creation
of a utilitarian system of nursing documentation in schools, the discovery of effective
strategies for working with school administrators, and many others.
Products which are placed on this page should be the direct result of assignments
in various courses within the program or to course or program activities or requisites
which resulted in illumination about one’s role, or the discovery of a new way of
practicing school nursing. This is the place to share with fellow students the new
vision that the school nursing program is bringing to you. The School Nurse Program
Coordinator and other faculty involved with the School Nurse concentration will
make the decision about which student work will be posted on this page. This is
a place to shine for both yourself and your fellow students.
