Nursing Student Association (NSA)

The purpose of the Nursing Students Association (NSA) is to support and encourage all levels of nursing students (pre-nursing, undergraduate, and graduate). NSA seeks to create and provide opportunities for our members to meet and network with one another in addition to acting as a resource group through a job fair, social events, fundraising, outreach activities, and monthly meetings with guest speakers.

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Nursing Students' Association (NSA) is to support and encourage all nursing students. Our membership includes pre-nursing, undergraduate, and graduate nursing students. NSA tries to create opportunities for our members to meet and network with one another in monthly meetings, social events, fundraising, and outreach activities.

Are you a current or future nursing student at Cal State Fullerton, or are you interested in finding out more about the nursing profession? If you are, then the Nursing Students' Association (NSA) is for you! NSA was recently founded by Austin Nation, a RN-BSN student. We are a fairly new club on campus, but are affiliated and recognized by the National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA), the only recognized student nursing society! We encourage you to join us for meetings and events so as to give yourself a voice in this newly formed club! As part of the NSA you will be able to share your experiences with your fellow nursing students and receive help and encouragement. NSA is also about fun and giving back to the community as we try to plan volunteer and fundraising activities throughout the semester. We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!

Membership Requirements

Becoming a member is easy! Just follow these simple steps! (We require registration with National as well as the local chapter.) Go online to www.nsna.org to join the National Student Nurses' Association. Cost for your first year is $35. You must renew your membership each year to be an active member. With your membership you will be eligible to attend bi-yearly meetings around California, great discounts at Barnes & Noble, among many others, and you will automatically receive "Imprint", the official magazine for student nurses! Attend an NSA meeting on campus and fill out an application form for the local chapter. Be sure to bring your official NSNA member number to sign up for our local chapter. There is a one time fee of $25. If you have any questions please feel free to visit us on Facebook or our NEW NSA Website.
