Meet our Academic Writing Coach - Faithe Roberson

Faithe Roberson is the Academic Writing Coach for the CSU Fullerton School of Nursing. This role provides nursing students with support for their academic reading and writing challenges.

Faithe Roberson earned her MA in Modern Literature abroad at University College London, where her research primarily focused on postmodern representations of maternity in English texts by Korean artists. She holds a BA in English from CSU Long Beach. She has spent the entirety of her career working in education, including as an after school teacher, textbook copyeditor, graduate writing workshop facilitator, and international education advising assistant.

As the Academic Writing Coach, Faithe is available to assist students at any step of the academic writing process cultivate a wide variety of skills, including: effectively deconstructing prompts, generating ideas for assignments, improving paragraph cohesion and clarity, correcting grammatical errors, and reviewing revision strategies. Appointments can take place in person or via Zoom.
