Comments for Reaccreditation

The School of Nursing at California State University, Fullerton is applying for reaccreditation of the Nurse-Midwifery Education Program. The site visit is scheduled for April 20, 2022. We invite you to submit written comments and opinions regarding the midwifery program’s congruence with the accreditation criteria to the midwifery accreditation body, Accreditation Commission Midwifery Education (ACME).

ACME accreditation is designed to ensure that midwifery education programs provide high quality educational experiences, embody effective administrative policies and procedures and are committed to continuous improvement. ACME is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to grant accreditation to midwifery education programs, including those programs that offer distance education. Programs earning the “ACME Accredited” distinction have demonstrated compliance with the ACME criteria and are performing at the highest level of quality.

Third-party comments must be specific, detailed, and reference the related ACME criteria.
