This program is impacted. We receive applications from more qualified applicants than we have space to admit.
Interviews are offered to the top qualified applicants. Applicants selected for interview will need to be available to come to the CSUF campus to complete the interview. Interviews are generally completed in groups. Interviewees have the opportunity to ask questions during the interview.
Well qualified applicants will have the following:
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Well written answers to the application questions that demonstrate high level writing and critical thinking skills as well as strong desire and capability to pursue graduate study and strong commitment to the Women's Health Care field.
- Recommendations that address an applicant's nursing skills, contributions to place of employment or education, dedication to the nursing field, specifically women's health care, and to lifelong learning.
- If applying for the nurse-midwifery/WHNP emphasis, at least one year of work experience in L&D
