SNS Credential Prerequisite Course

Audiology

SNSC students must complete an approved audiology course.

  • CSUF does not offer a course that meets this requirement. There are currently three courses that meet our requirement. As other courses are approved, they will be added here.

    • HSCI 3374 (Basic Audiometry and Hearing Problems) at CSU San Bernardino
    • CSDS 125 (Audiology and Audiometry for School Nurses) at Fresno State
    • CSAD 129 (Audiometry and Hearing Screening for School Nurses) at Sacramento State
  • Required Grade: Grade earned in the course must be C or better.
  • Completion Time Frame: You may complete this course prior to starting the SNSC program or during the first year of the program. The course must be completed by the end of the first year of the SNSC program.
