University Application

The Fall 2026 application will be available beginning October 1, 2025 online through Cal State Apply.

The online Cal State Apply application will require the following:

  • Completion of online application form which will ask for bio/demographic information and details about your previous education.
  • Names and contact information, including email address, for three references who are registered nurses. These references will receive an email with directions to complete the recommendation.
  • Statement of Purpose - in 500 words or less describe your preparation and reason(s) for pursuing graduate study in Nursing Leadership at CSUF.
  • Current resume detailing all education and nursing work experience.
  • Individual unofficial transcripts from all colleges/universities attended.
  • Application fee paid online when submitting the application.

Official Transcripts Requirement

After completing the online application, you must submit official transcripts from all colleges/universities you have attended.

Note: Please do not order your transcripts until you have submitted your application AND received your Campus Wide ID (CWID) from CSUF.

Transcripts must be submitted directly to CSUF Admissions by the application deadline.

Electronic transcripts are preferred. Review the Admissions website for instructions.

Application Deadlines

The Fall 2026 application deadline is June 1, 2026.

The following items must be submitted by the application deadline:

  • Online application, including all recommendations submitted
  • University application fee
  • Official electronic transcripts to CSUF Admissions
    • Note: Please do not order your transcripts until you have submitted your application AND received your Campus Wide ID (CWID) from CSUF.
