RN-BSN Application Process

The School of Nursing admits twice a year (Fall and Spring). See below for the application deadline.

RN-BSN Application Requirements

• Complete the Cal State Apply application by the deadline. There is a non-refundable application fee. Applications are not accepted after the deadline.  
  • Include your CA RN license number or estimated date of when you will complete the NCLEX exam
  • Upload unofficial documents
    • Unofficial transcripts from all previously attended institutions (including ADN program)
    • Unofficial AP/IB scores (if pursuing first bachelor's degree)
    • Unofficial foreign transcripts and evaluations (if applicable)
• Official documents must be submitted to the CSUF Office of Admissions by the School of Nursing deadline. Electronic transcripts are preferred. For more information, visit the Apply Now tab. 
  • Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions (including ADN program)
  • Official AP/IB scores (if pursuing first bachelor's degree) 
  • Official foreign transcripts/marksheets and evaluations (if applicable) 
• Letters of Recommendation or Personal Statements are NOT required.
